Exciting news

Hello friends, Tis the season to be jolly. I find myself running behind as usual. So, today I decided I needed to get some Christmas cards out to people I correspond with at this time of year. I love it when I get a card that is a non-traditional color scheme at Christmas time. Keeping that in mind I decided to go in that direction with my creations. I chose some stamps and embossing powders from Emerald Creek. I think it turned out rather well. What I love the most is that it still has that sparkle from the embossing powder that gives it a holiday feel.

This card used Emerald Creek Stamps along with their embossing powders. The background is colorized using Distress Oxide inks.

The following cards are created using a masking technique. I die cut the images from masking paper before inking the background.

I used the Ranger ink Dauber and applied ink over the mask, sprinkled on the embossing powder and heat set before removing the masking material.

So now for the exciting news. Some of you know that I have been working with Kim from Emerald Creek for the last year. There are big changes coming in the next year. One I can share with you today. I am so thrilled to tell you that Seth Apter will be launching Baked Texture embossing powders in a collaboration with Emerald Creek. Please check out his product launch here.

And you can find a challenge from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and Emerald Creek here

So that is it from me today. Now go make something fun and enjoy your holiday.
