Alcohol Ink Love
For me, there is just nothing more striking than art created with alcohol ink. Those vivid colors and unpredictable results are so pleasing. Let me show you what I mean.
This is a piece I created on Yupo paper. The flowers are stamps and dies from designer Tim Holtz. While I find this pleasing, I am already planning more projects like this in different colors. I have been playing with my gel plate and printing interesting alcohol ink papers. Check out my latest YouTube video if you are interested in this kind of art play. Typically I have several projects I am working at the same time. I was working on journal challenges while creating colorful papers. I think I may create a book from all the backgrounds I made while printing. That is always a good way to break the blank page.
Anyway, I created a number of pages and a couple of finished pieces. I hope you like them enough to visit again and see what I create next.
