Texture and Mark Making with StencilGirl®️

Spring Cleaning
This really happens all year long not just in the Spring. One thing that makes me happy and more productive in the studio is having things organized. I have found a few new products to help me with this task. First up is this peg board from Ikea. It has a assortment of organizational hooks and trays you can add to it to make it usable in your space. I also found these inexpensive trays from Michaels. They help with organizing small things like washi, punches, embossing powder

September Happenings
Wow, where does the time go? I can’t believe it is already the end of September and we are looking towards a busy fall. Make Time to Create.
Seems like a galaxy of color has opened up to me. The winter blahs are gone and summer is here. I am not typically drawn to pinks and blues, but these pieces happened in my studio. Above is watercolor on Yupo and below is a page from a journal. I wish you could see the shimmer from the metallic watercolors and the Nuvo paste. Time Flies When You are Having Fun
Hi everyone, And let me tell you, I was having some fun with this. I am playing today with some ideas for the guys in my life. I found a clock I wanted to decorate for my son’s new apartment. Seth Apter"s Stencils and Baked Texture embossing powders really were the ticket to success. I think he is really going to like this. Would you like to see how I did this? December Daze
Hello friends, I am happy and grateful you are here. December can be such a busy month my head is spinning. I have been traveling and enjoying our not quite winter weather. I just returned from Louisville Kentucky. I was able to visit a wonderful consignment co-op shop there in between family events. Here is my travel vlog. Busy Month
Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by. I just spent a wonderful weekend in St. Louis with Seth Apter and Mary Beth Shaw.
